The quest for secret waterfalls continues

On saturday we went on a trip to a hidden waterfall our friend Kyle had found randomly a couple of weeks ago.
we parked on the side of Hana highway and started to walk in to the rainforest, when everyone stops and gasps!

WTF??
This is what we have to pass??

If this was a scary movie, this would be the first sign to get the hell outta there! :P

We keep walking and behind the trees we see the gorgeous waterfall that is our destination :)
Soooo beautiful i cant even begin to explain

The hike down to the waterfall was way more hectic than I thought. At one point i found myself hanging singel-handedly from a rope, which I have no idea who put there and when, I have my huge camera in the other hand probably ten spiders in my hair and i am singing out loud to keep myself from panicking!
It was all very dramatic! :P

But it was sooooo worth it when we got to the bottom! Its the highest waterfall ive seen up-close ever in my life!

Im telling you, when you jump in and feel the cold fresh water rinse away the mud and sweat and you know that there is only a handfull of people who has been here before you, it feels truly special.

We break out our lunch and some cold beverages and just hang out around the pool for an hour or so until we feel the rain starting to close in on us. And you know you do not want to be stuck at the bottom of a muddy trail when that happens! :D

We make our way back up the climb, which was haaaard! My thighs are still sore! :P
Then we drive down the road to another beautiful waterfall close to the road to have a cliff-jumping session.

That resulted with a lost Go-Pro camera :(
The guys tried to dive down for it, but its at least 40/50ft deep and pitch black, so no way of ever finding it again.

Im gonna end this with a fun discovery I made that day.
Cause this was all very new to me: the field we had to pass to get to one of the waterfalls, which had a cow grassing on it, is also a place were the Psilocybin mushrooms grow, also known as magic mushrooms :P it just grows randomly on the side of the road like that... I had heard it, but never seen it with my own eyes before! its a funny world we live in! :D

We all agreed it was an amazing day
and we drove back home with smiles on our faces :)
