Synne in Hululand

So. I finally made it across the boarder!!! :D I am now living in a beach condo in beautiful Maui with my boyfriend Chris who I met in Honduras when I was traveling 3 years ago :)

After several visa issues, a lost ticket and many tears. i ended up going for the kill by just getting on the plane and hoping for the best.
They took me into secondary interview at the boarder, but i charmed them into letting me go by telling them my dad is king of Norway ;) no problem! :P

We spent a week in beautiful Mendocino where i struggled with jet lag like never before, and then there was Maui Time! :) :)

We had several different appartments to check out when we got here, but the first one we saw was to amazing to not take. Its huge, with beautiful decoration and a gigantic private terrace. Its rght by the beach (Kam 2) And we have a pool and a bar around the corner. :)

And front row seats to an unbelievably beautiful sunset every night...

The reason that we moved to Maui (exept for the obviouse: beach, sun and happy hour) is because my boyfriend Chris, whos from California got a job here as an agent for Barefoot tours. http://www.tombarefootshawaiitoursactivities.com/.
And for him to get to know all the different activities they sell, we have to do them! :) sucks huh? :P

Within the 3 weeks we have been here we have become experts on the zip line by trying out the three biggest zip line companies on Maui. ITS AWESOME!! :D

I started by being terryfied on the mellow family trail:

And ended up hanging loose on the longest trail at 65 mph :)

At the end of one of the zip lines they had a big swing. it was INSANE!!!

We have also been on different snorkle trips around maui and the sorrounding islands. We have snorkeled the molokini crater more times than weve been to happy hour at the bar around the corner! :)

We went parasailing, which was awesome!

It was very idyllic and beautiful, but with my shark phobia, this is what i thought was gonna happen :

But it remained in my imagination  :)

We went kayakking, and snorkeled with huge turtles.

We have been to the bottom of the ocean with a submarine

We saw spotted eagle rays

And a sunken ship

We did an ATV tour in the mountains over Lahaina. En dirty and dusty experience, but so much fun! :)

Luau

Cirque de polynesia. Hawaiis answer to cirque de solei.

Helicopter trip over Molokai

This is the walley from the opening of Jurassic park. Of course they played the theme music as we were flying in. :)

We went on this amazing hike in Hana. We picked avocadoes, passionfruit and learned about all the plants we can eat and enjoy.

So now we can survive in the wilderness if we have to! :) Someone took that more literally than others

wheres Chris?

On sundays we are a big group gathering at Makena beach drinking beers and playing volleyball til the sun goes down.

shotgun!!

Weve been to the human society playing with the kitties a couple of times! its is sooo hard not taking this little guy home with me

As you can see, theres alot happening these days and we are having the time of our lives. Its hard to understand that I actually live here now :)
